Accounting Technician / Bookkeeper – Full-time

The Role

  • A ‘hands-on’ role contributing to the day-to-day financial management of a portfolio of clients
  • Key duties will include:
    • Bookkeeping
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Ledger maintenance
    • VAT Return preparation
    • Assisting with accounts production
  • Regular liaison with clients

The Person

  • Must be highly computer literate and tech-savvy, with experience using an accounting package a distinct advantage
  • Bookkeeping experience preferred but full training will be provided
  • May suit a qualified accounting technician and/or someone studying towards their professional exams (although not essential)
  • The right candidate will have enthusiasm, passion, and pride in their work
  • You must be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills

The Conditions

  • Permanent role
  • Full-time role predominantly based in Maguiresbridge with the possibility of some remote working and flexible hours for the right candidate
  • Some travel to and spending time on client premises may be required
  • The role offers exposure to many industries (retail, manufacturing, leisure, FMCG, construction)
